On June 16, 2025, in a warm and formal atmosphere at the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO), the 127th Philippine Independence Day (June 12, 1898 – June 12, 2025) and the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam–Philippines Strategic Partnership (Nov 17, 2015 – Nov 17, 2025) were successfully commemorated, with representatives from both countries in attendance.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thị Hồng Xuân, Chairwoman of the Vietnam–Southeast Asia Friendship Association (VAFA), highlighted the historical significance and resilience of the Philippine people, as well as the increasingly deepened Vietnam–Philippines relations since the Strategic Partnership was established. She recalled the Philippine delegation’s participation in the April 30, 2025, ceremony in HCMC as a symbol of enduring friendship between the two nations.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to Vietnam expressed honor at attending this meaningful event and shared his impressions of the April 30, 2025, ceremony in HCMC, emphasizing the strong development of bilateral relations and the key role of the Filipino community in Vietnam.

As a participating unit, Cờ Thủy Tinh Châu (QiClash) was honored to be part of this symbolic diplomatic space. After the official program, Philippine representatives were presented with Cờ Thủy Tinh Châu sets as a cultural gift symbolizing friendship, intellect, and shared aspirations for sustainable development.

We sincerely thank HUFO, VAFA, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thị Hồng Xuân for enabling Cờ Thủy Tinh Châu (QiClash) to accompany these meaningful diplomatic activities. Being part of fostering ASEAN connections and cultural values is a great honor.
