On the morning of December 4, 2025, the official group draw for Danh Kỳ Lưu Truyền 3 – Grand Finals 2025 took place in a focused yet energetic atmosphere. This was a key moment in the tournament, where the group-stage structure was defined and potential matchups for the official competition day began to take shape.

Following the draw, the Organizing Committee proudly announced that all 24 players had been confirmed and evenly distributed into four groups—A, B, C, and D—with six players in each group. The training session and draw concluded in a cheerful, open, and energetic spirit as everyone turned their attention to the group stage set to begin the next day, December 5.

Overview of the groups – each group, a unique challenge

As soon as the results were announced, Group A quickly drew attention as the most challenging group at first glance. The presence of Huỳnh Diệu Phát from the TTC Chess Club immediately positioned Group A as a true test for anyone aiming to advance.

In contrast, Group C presented a very different dynamic. While still highly competitive, it became the group many players hoped to join to challenge themselves, especially with the appearance of Bùi Minh Nhật, runner-up of the first season. Group C is therefore seen as a gathering of ambition and determination.

Group B was soon described as an “uncomfortable” group, led by Quinn from TTC Chess Club Ho Chi Minh City. Alongside him are several strong players from Season 1 who happened to draw into the same group, setting the stage for tense and uncompromising encounters.

Meanwhile, Group D is predicted to be a true battlefield. With Nguyễn Duy Thắng, champion of Season 2, the group already carries significant weight. The anticipated matchup between Duy Thắng and Hồ Cẩm Nhung—longtime rivals and also the mentor of the Season 2 runner-up—promises emotionally charged and intense confrontations.

Ready for the group stage

The draw not only determined the group structure but also ignited competitive spirit throughout the tournament. Focused expressions, post-training tactical discussions, and visible excitement on every player’s face showed that everyone is ready to step into the group stage.

Tomorrow, December 5, Danh Kỳ Lưu Truyền 3 officially begins its group-stage matches. We believe each group will bring its own stories, bold moves, and explosive moments true to the TTC spirit.
