On the morning of August 5th, QiClash (Cờ Thủy Tinh Châu) had the honor of participating in the "Fragrance of Tea – Warmth of ASEAN" tea ceremony program. The event was organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (MTTQ) of Binh Thanh Ward in collaboration with the Vietnam – Southeast Asia Friendship Association of Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the 59th anniversary of ASEAN's founding. The program held significant practical meaning in connecting the community and promoting people-to-people diplomacy.

In a space steeped in cultural identity, representatives from the Consulates General of Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia, along with other delegates, had the opportunity to reflect on the region's development over nearly six decades. Using the culture of tea tasting as a connecting point, the program not only offered profound insights into the history of the ASEAN community from the delegates but also opened up a space for intimate exchange, introducing traditional values such as calligraphy, tea ceremonies, and various cultural products.

Present at the event, QiClash took great pride in spreading a strategy game deeply rooted in Vietnamese and ASEAN identity. Each move, featuring the familiar imagery of the 12 zodiac animals, does more than just create a game; it uses every chess position to tell international friends about the captivating cultural beauties and national traditions. Additionally, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front (MTTQ) Committee of Binh Thanh Ward, several sets of QiClash were respectfully presented to honored delegates as a warm and hospitable gesture of welcome.

It was the uniqueness of the gameplay combined with the cultural identity embedded in each piece that sparked intense interest among the guests. These exchange matches played over warm cups of tea not only dissolved language barriers but also served as a bridge connecting perspectives, fostering mutual understanding and solidarity among the countries in the region.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh Ward and the Vietnam – Southeast Asia Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City for providing the opportunity for QiClash to participate, bringing Vietnamese heritage and intellectual values closer to the international community.
